David Wilkerson for POTUS - 2020
"To vastly improve your country and truly make it great again, start by choosing a better leader. Do not let the media or the establishment make you pick from the people they choose, but instead choose from those they do not pick." - Suzy Kassem

First off, let me say what I am not. I am not a politician nor am I one of the wealthy people in the US. I am just like everyone out there hoping for and needing to ensure a better future for our children and grandchildren. I go to work every day to support my family and come home to make sure they are taken care of. I am 48 years old (as of 2017) and a single father of two great children, which I have been raising on my own since 2008. My daughter will be 19 years old and my son will be 16 years old, both in February 2018.

I grew up in a small town in South Georgia named Baxley. I left there just before I turned 18, to join the US Navy as a nuclear propulsion plant operator. I served 11 years, being honorably discharged in December 1998, before deciding to move on to seek a different future for myself. I ended up settling in the Aiken, SC area, where I now work as an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician for a worldwide company that manufactures parts for the automotive industry.

I want to pursue the position of President of the United States, because I love my country and I am really worried about the path that we are heading down. I think the morality of this country, and the whole world in general, is being seriously degraded and we are now accepting things as "normal" that we would have never accepted in the past and we shouldn't accept now. I feel there are people that want to push our country into a social experiment while also pushing the country to be part of a one world government. I am not a conspiracy theorist, but I do believe that there are people, and I mean politicians, that are more worried about advancing themselves then where this country is headed.

A lot of people have said, "You are not a politician or lawyer or rich or famous, how do you expect to win a presidential election?" My answer is, all of those are pluses for me! I am not in anyone's pockets, I am not out to make myself rich or powerful, I have not been mixed up in politics my entire life and I have not colluded with any government or institution. I think that me being a normal everyday person and in the middle class, I can relate to much of the nation. I am trying to get this position to make sure this country stays at the top of the list in all areas with positive influence on all of us and our future. There are many areas that we need to advance in, and it seems we need someone from "outside" the political arena to lead that journey. I would love to be that person to help lead and advance our great nation.

I am intelligent and knowledgeable in many areas. I am not claiming to be a genius and I certainly am not claiming to know everything, but I am smart enough to know that if you surround yourself with the right people and leave your mind open to criticism and suggestions, you can make the correct decisions most of the time. I have a viewpoint and standing on many subjects, which can be seen on my "Issues" page. I am not saying I am correct on these issues, but now this is how I feel on each of them. If I am wrong or misinformed, then please correct me, with FACTS and NOT opinions. I will be opening a Blog where we can discuss the issues at hand.

Thank you for visiting the site and please support me in my endeavor to become president and lead this country back to be the world leader that we should be. Like I have said, I am not rich so please donate to help me lead a successful campaign and please spread the word to everyone you know. By the way, I do not golf either!

In case you couldn't tell, I am mainly conservative, but I do lean to the liberal side on some issues. With that said, I will be running as an Independent, unless for some reason the Republican Party wants me to run for them, but there are some current "Republicans" that are not true to their constituents, so I would be hesitant about accepting that.
